Basics Yoga
A class for everyone, either new to yoga or practitioners wishing to refresh their knowledge of basic yoga poses. Class includes fundamental poses to improve strength, flexibility, focus and balance with an emphasis on proper body alignment techniques. Modifications and props are provided.
Flow Yoga
Vinyasa flow is a dynamic flow of poses linked with the power of breath and meditative focus. Moving from one pose to another as you inhale and exhale, you will build strength, flexibility, and steadiness in your practice. Breath and movement also create internal heat, purifying and detoxifying the body. Vinyasa Flow clears the mind and recharges the nervous system. You are invited to experiment with this practice at any level; modifications and yoga props are provided.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is ‘active relaxation,’ stimulating and relaxing the body to move towards balance. It is beneficial for everyone at any level and is an excellent opportunity to unwind and de-stress. With the use of blankets, straps and other props, supported poses hold you in proper alignment, activating the parasympathetic nervous system and allowing the body to work at it s maximum efficiency. Restorative yoga allows you to relax deeply, reduce residual tension, increase flexibility and regenerate the entire body, physically, energetically and mentally.
